1. Basics of Teen Patti


3 Patti master is usually played with 3 to 6 players using a standard deck of 52 cards (without jokers). The goal is to have the best three-card hand and win the pot, which is the collection of all bets made during the game.

2. Card Ranking in Teen Patti


In Teen Patti, hands are ranked from high to low as follows:

  • Trail/Trio: Three cards of the same rank (e.g., 3 Aces).

  • Pure Sequence: Three consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., 10, Jack, Queen of hearts).

  • Sequence: Three consecutive cards, but from different suits.

  • Color/Flush: Three cards of the same suit, but not in sequence.

  • Pair: Two cards of the same rank.

  • High Card: If no one has any of the above, the highest card wins.


3. Starting the Game



  • Each player places a starting bet, called the boot amount, to begin the game.

  • Every player is dealt three cards face-down.
